This professional skills course reflects on contemporary ideas and issues in the field, implications for therapeutic practice and provides an opportunity for practitioner self-reflection.

As therapists, we are familiar with discussions around prejudices and assumptions made on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, disability and other aspects of difference and diversity. However, anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice requires an ongoing commitment to learning and reflection on the part of the practitioner to aid ethical and inclusive practice.

This flexible programme can be completed at a time and pace convenient to the individual learner. It is a combination of short, instructor-led webinars, independent learning, and reflective exercises.
