What you will learn
This
short course focuses on increasing your awareness
and understanding of autism and the lived experiences of autistic people.
Autistic adults are more likely than the neurotypical population to experience mental health difficulties, with research showing that an overwhelming majority of autistic adults within the UK don't feel accepted.
Please note, this short course primarily considers working with autistic clients through talking therapies, and therefore focuses on working alongside those with low support needs only.
This programme is a combination of short, instructor-led webinars, independent learning, and reflective exercises.
